Hello Everyone...
It has been a wet week around here...lots of much needed rain and more to come this week before we might get a reprieve for awhile. We have such a dry climate here...and so any moisture makes everything look so nice and green.
I have completed the Mystery Quilt assignment for this week. (Enlarge the pics if your wish). It went together fairly quickly...tough part was figuring out which combination of colors worked best...the colors in this quilt are rather muted...which is nice, but a challenge because nothing "pops"...no brilliant reds or greens etc..

LOTS OF SPINNING THIS WEEK |
|
AND FLOWER POT PLYING |
I like to ply using flower pots when I have spun singles and used a ball winder instead of my lazy kate. They work really well and don't move while you are plying.

THE MYSTERY QUILT TOP ~ WEEK 4 |
My apologies for the not so great picture...I have taken part of my design wall down and so the quilt isn't hanging as nicely as it should..but we can open one of the closet doors now...which is making hubby much happier..mind you, he never complained...but I was after swinging quilts back and forth for a few weeks!

Hi Nancy, your quilt looks great! Do you have any ideas on how you are going to have it quilted?

Hi Nancy,
Lovely to come and visit you and see what you are up to.
The quilt is looking fabulous and must be exciting seeing it all come together. My Mother used to spin wool and we would love doing it too. How pretty your new Petunia is and such a lovely colour and you must be enjoying the rain for your new plants.
Many thanks for visiting me and the kind birthday wishes for Victoria and I.
Hope you have a lovely weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
