Trims, Trims and More...

The other day, my good friend and author had lunch. She has always written articles and published a magazine called "Canadian Teddy Bear News". Now she is writing children's books...and so the fur she collected to make bears is now flying in my house! I have amassed quite a collection of vintage fur hats, collars, etc...For good measure she threw in wood wool, upholstery samples and coats! All of the small pieces of fur are from old coats...I used to design Santas and used fur trims years ago...and now I can design new Santas this year and get that wonderful vintage look with these newly acquired trims...Thank-you Patricia!

This is my 40th post! I think I should have a giveaway for my 50th...what shall I do? Stay tuned!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Nancy

Congrats on the posting milestone! I do a lot of blog surfing for inspiration for my photography, and it's awesome to see the amount of effort and dedication everyone puts into their art, and the same level of effort into being part of a bigger community online. Thanks for sharing!

Thank-you Michele, Colleen and Laurie. I am anxious to get to the design phase...but I have a lot of teaching projects to get through before I can even think about it...hopefully not too long a wait.

Hello Nancy, Lovely supplies you have! Do you have any pictures of the Santa's you have made previously? I'd love to see them. I bet they are gorgeous!

That is a wonderful stash of supplies you were given. Does it get those creative ideas flowing? I bet it does.

I am so excited to have won your giveaway! I have sent you an email.
