Summer Flowers...

I just love summer flowers...everything is so fresh and fragrant. This is one of my begonia plants...the yellow is such a brilliant color.

And of course an update on the robins...this pic was taken this morning from my deck. I will get up closer tomorrow...I can see that they have really grown in the past few days...amazing!

Have a great week!

Hi Nancy, I love summer flowers too. I think we appreciate them more in Canada, LOL.

Your little baby birds are soooo sweet. Are they noisey little guys?

I agree Karen...our season is so short in Canada...although in the Kingsville-Leamington area of Southern Ontario, they do get a good 5 months of nice weather.

That one little baby looks like he is having a great time chirping away! No, they aren't noisy...I do hear them a little...but only when I am listening for it...

What a great photo...those little babes with their mouthes open to their momma. How fun to watch them grown.

I love, love, love the yellow!! I grow that same vibrant yellow in my garden.....only it's in the form of roses....Sunsprite. It's a great compliment to all the pink carpet roses!!

Thank you for sharing the baby robin pictures. They're so cute with their mouths open waiting to be feed. I wonder if birds have the same human feelings when their babies leave the nest. We know so little about the feelings of animals. These things I ponder when I work. A total nut job, huh? Ha!

Warmest bear hugs, Aleta

I don't know Aleta...a great question. I do know that the mother is very protective...the dad, protective, but not as noisy. When the last one left the nest, the dad was right there on the ground with the baby digging up worms and actually feeding the baby on the ground. Amazing little creatures!
