The Beauty of Fall....
I took these pics before we had the big winds...the leaves on these trees are all gone now. In Calgary, we don't get a lot of red when the leaves change color....but rather an abundance of gold. I took these pics early in the morning. We still have nice temps...but it is going to get a little colder over the next couple of days. We in Canada celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend...hopefully, the weather will be nice...especially for those traveling.

Oh how absolutely beautiful the golden leaves are, on the trees, Nancy.
I also see that you have managed to photograph a little nest - how sweet.

Thank-you so much Carolyn. That little nest is my Robin family nest. The poor little nest has no protection from the weather now. The winds have also taken away a lot of the straw-like material. I see the sparrows going in the nest and just sitting. Kind of cute to watch them.
I so wish we were closer! Your friendship and kind words are much appreciated here too!

The golden leaves are breathtakingly beautiful. And the nest - adorable.
Fall is such a gorgeous time of year - it helps us forget that we're heading into winter!
