Winter Beauty....

Hi Everyone...
It is a beautiful day here in Calgary. The sun is shining, the temperature is warm..er at +10C. Tomorrow is supposed to be a balmy +16C! I know it is just freezing in the east...I wish I could send the warmth to you...but we froze for the whole month of December!
I thought I would share these pics with you...The first picture is of a little tree I bought at a lovely flower/gift shop near us in 2004. This is the little tree that you see just before Christmas and buy it because it's cute...but by February or sooner...it has become a crunchy little tree!

Well, I am here to dispel the myth that they don't last! The second picture is the "little tree" now...this was taken in the morning sun today. I haven't done much with it other than transplant it, water it and give it a shower every now and then. It seems to love this east window.

The third picture is a new "little tree" I bought a year ago just before Christmas...it is doing well too. So go out and get yourself a "little tree"...and enjoy those cold winter days with a little green!

Have a great week!
Nancy

HI Nancy,

So glad to hear that the weather is warming up for you.

Your little tree looks to be doing well and must be in a good possie in your house.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hugs
Carolyn

I cannot seem to interpret Celsius from Fahrenheit. No one has ever taught me. It is in the fifties here, and that is Fahrenheit, you know Gabriel Daniel Fahrenheit (1686-1736, German physicist. Yours if from Anders Celsius,(1701-44), Swedish astronomer. I will assume then that 16C is warm, but I don't know how warm. Wah!

In any event, your little trees are fabulous!

Chrisitine ! Zwee!
