Up To My Mohair...!!

Hello Everyone...
This week is shaping up to be a basement and bear week! The basement is really the garage that we are going to start painting in a couple of days...
The "bear" part is getting ready for the online bear show this coming weekend. I am cutting out, antiquing, and putting together the sweetest group of bears. I haven't made bears for quite a while and so this has been a fun process. Go to Nancy's Shoppe for further details.
Sneak Peak!
We spent Sunday down at the Calgary Stampede. I was asked to be a Judge again this year...we do all of the judging before the start of the Stampede. It was a lot of fun...and we were excited to see a higher quality of work. I will just give you a taste of the Stampede for 2011.
This is "Sir" Llama!  He was definitely the boss!
Little Zoe...so cute!
Beautiful Quilts
The Back of an amazing Cake!
The winner of the Drawings/Painting section...Just amazing work!
A gorgeous Lace Shawl...
This Singer is over 100 years old!

And finally, today was my grandson's 8th birthday. He loves inline skating and so we decided to get him his very own, along with the wrist, elbow and knee pads. He does have a helmet, but it was at home. This pic was taken yesterday at our house.
Matthew...Trying out the new Inline Skates

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Hi Nancy,

You have so much going on in your life, bears, ( love the sneak peak) Calgary Stampede and the renovations to your house.
Wonder if you got to see William and Kate at the Calgary Stampede? I am sure I heard they were there at some stage.
Happy birthday to Mathew 8! he looks great in his skating gear. I used to love skating too.
Good luck with your bears and will have to come and take a look.

Have a happy week
Hugs
Carolyn
