Hello...
The mornings are definitely chilly now...but the daytime temps are still nice. We have had a lovely fall this year. I hope it continues for a few more weeks...
I have missed you all, and apologize for not keeping up on my postings of late. I can't believe we are halfway through October already!
Lots of projects are keeping me busy these days, but my most recent adventure is back into painting. I did a lot of it many years ago, but didn't really take myself too seriously. I enjoyed the process...
I am not sure about pursuing it as a career (it is never too late for those of you who know my age), but I am going to take part in a Christmas Art Market at the end of November. I have been painting up a storm. My medium is watercolor. I have been exploring ways to incorporate texture and feel "free" when painting. I am working hard at just letting myself go...and not be too fussy at this stage. We'll see where it all takes me...

STILL BLOOMING...
The last picture was taken on my Dad's porch while we were there in September. This one is small in comparison to some around the area that were 3x the size. So pretty...might have to paint this one!

Wishing you all a happy week!
Thank-you for visiting....

Dear Nancy,

Loved seeing the beautiful fall photo with the golden leaves on the trees and the sun peeping through.
So happy to hear that you have taken up painting and what fun having your work in the Christmas Art Market.
Love the cute snowman and the hibiscus is so pretty and will make a lovely painting.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend and have fun painting.
Sending love and hugs
Carolyn
