New Year...New Ideas...New Inspiration...

Hello...
There is a gentle snow falling on this New Year Eve/Day. There will be snow to shovel in the morning. The days are starting to get a little longer, although we won't be noticing it too much until mid February.
I have a few new books to read over the winter. Looking forward to curling up with a hot cup of tea and a good mystery. How about you? What books do you enjoy reading?...

~ WINTER READING ~
The books in the picture...Of course, I can't go without a cookbook. "Cooking from the Farmer's Market" was a Christmas present from my DH...I had glanced through it a week or so before Christmas while shopping in Williams Sonoma...(Love that store!!) This book is filled with lots of pictures and simple, good for you recipes.
The mystery novel is "Music of Ghosts" and was reviewed favorably by Pam from Sidewalk Shoes and so decided it might be a good read. The one underneath in the photo is called Benediction. Not a long story, but again, well received by those who have read it.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year
filled with joy and peace.
Thank-you for visiting me...

Happy New Year Nancy, to you and your family.
Looks like you have some good reads there - the Farmers Market cooking will be good.
Stay warm - wish I could send over some of our sunshine and warmth. Today we have been out in the garden and it was so hot.
enjoy the week
hugs
Carolyn
