A Lovely Warm Weekend...

Hi Everyone...

We had a lovely weekend here in Calgary...the weather was just perfect...not too hot! Thought I would update you on the birdies...they are almost ready to leave the nest...in less than 2 weeks, they are no longer little babies...they are really crammed into their little nest now. The second pic is so cute...they look like they have been told to stand at attention! We had a bit of a scare this afternoon...I spotted a big hawk, not far from the nest...all of the robins are nesting now and the little birds are such easy prey. I hope these little ones are spared.

My little grandson turned 5 years old on Saturday...where does the time go! Do you think he has enough presents...?! The first pic of Matt was when he turned one. He sure loved that cupcake!

And I have to show you my tomato...well, actually, I can see two, but one is so much larger. Hope I have lots...they are one of my hubby's favorite foods.

Have a great week!
Nancy

My tomatoes are a teensy bit smaller than yours. I'm so looking forward to picking and eating them red and juicy!

I am looking forward to the taste of tomatoes off the vine in a few weeks too, Lorrie.

Good luck with your tomatoes Nancy - they are so much nicer picked ripe off the vine than from the
supermarket - taste better.

Your little Grand children are beautiful and you must be so proud.

Thank-you Carolyn...I only have one grandchild...the first pic was when he was a baby...He is the joy of my life!

I hope they do okay too! I agree, they are so much better fresh from the garden.

Hi Nancy, Such great pictures of those birdies. I really have enjoyed all of your photos :)

We are trying to grow a bit of corn, but won't be surprised if the deer get to it first.
