A Little Sweater...

Hello Everyone...
Our weather is finally cooperating, I have my garden in and out of pots planted and am now ready to enjoy the fruits of my labor! I hope literally. I bought another Tomato plant and hopefully I will have tomatoes all summer. We had such a puny little crop last year...we'll see.
I have a wonderful sister-in-law who lives a province away from us...and who generally gets all things crocheted. But when I called her one day a couple of weeks ago, she was pretty frustrated with this pattern for a little sweater.
I used to crochet a lot many years ago and so I told her to send me the pattern and I would see what I could do. I didn't seem to struggle with it...but it was  a strange pattern and this was her first sweater.
In the end, I added and changed and it worked...I sent it to her this past week and she was thrilled not to have to continue to struggle with the pattern. I admired her bravery! I'm not sure I would have had the patience to keep trying...
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!
Nancy

What sweet colors. And so neatly done. Good for you finishing it up. I think I would have to study my crochet books to remember how it's all done. Nice job.

Hi Nancy,

What a beautiful little cardi and so glad that you were able to master the pattern in the end.
They can be frustrating trying to work out sometimes.
I hope that your tomato plants do better than ours, we had two green tomatoes that fell off before they were ripe, so not a good outcome.

Happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
