Hello...
I know you have seen this quilt for "what seems like forever", but I am making progress. I am now doing a little hand-quilting at this point. I just don't feel like trying to turn circles and small areas with such a large quilt.I hope to show the finished quilt early next week. Right about now, I would love to own a long-arm machine...I thought about it when I bought my new sewing machine last year; but at the time didn't feel I had the room. I have decided that I will make the room in the near future. It just makes quilting large quilts so much easier!

The picture below is of the tree...not decorated yet, but will be by week's end. I'll post a pic of the finished tree. I bought this tree last year from Balsam Hill. I wanted something a little different than the usual green tree. This is called the Mount Washington tree...it came already lit, with its' own bag and white gloves for handling. I painted up an old wash tub, set the base inside and covered the inside with a blanket.

I have a busy rest of the week planned...how about you??
Wishing you a happy day!
