Folk Art For May...

Hi Everyone...
I decided to go on a little adventure...with painting. I usually work in watercolor, a most beautiful medium. Over the years, I have played with acrylic...but never worked it into a painting...until now. I have always admired folk art painting and in particular Grandma Moses, Warren Kimble etc...too many to mention.
"Home Sweet Home" is my first attempt with this medium...I am really thrilled with the result. It is available over at Pfatt Marketplace this month.

Wishing you a Merry May!
Nancy

Hi Nancy,

How talented you are ~ your painting is wonderful and must have been fun working on it.

I hope that you had a happy Mother's day with your family.

Thank-you very much Carolyn. I really enjoyed doing something different. I have lots more ideas...just have to make the time. I had a wonderful day yesterday.

That style of folk art is totally close to my heart. One of my dearest friends who lives in Vermont, was Warren Kimbles' assistant for many years. Your work is absolutely wonderful!
